A unit for every age
Children start in Cubs or Brownies and grow with us step by step until they become leaders.
- 7–11 years
Cubs
The start of the trail. We play, and learn to rely on ourselves: tie our shoes, carry our own bag, and know what to do if we lose the group.
About Cubs - 7–11 years
Brownies
The younger girls' section, with its own leaders and a programme for their age: play, handcrafts, and first steps in camping.
About Brownies - 12–15 years
Scouts
This is where the patrol begins: a small group with its own leader and flag. We pitch our own tents, cook on the fire, and read map and compass.
About Scouts - 12–15 years
Guides
The girls' section for ages 12 to 15, with the same patrol system, led by the troop's women leaders. Camping, service and field skills.
About Guides - 16–21 years
Rovers
The older members. Long mountain treks, service projects in Meryata and around, and helping leaders with the cubs. Tomorrow's leaders come from here.
About Rovers - 21+ years
Leaders
Volunteers who grew up in the troop and completed the association's training courses. They plan every activity and go to every camp with the children.
