The troop’s story
The troop is named after Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, the first to believe and the first to give. That is where our motto «وأعدّوا» — “and prepare” — comes from: to be ready, in the mountains and in life.
In the badge you can see the mountains of the North, the mosque dome, and the wings around the fleur-de-lis with the hand raised in the scout sign. Every part of it lives on this site: the mountains on the home page, the shield around the leaders’ portraits, the green ribbon on unit names.
