A stopper at the end of a rope so it can’t slip through a pulley or ring. Easy to untie after loading.

1. 1Make a loop by passing the end over the standing part.
2. 2Take the end around behind the standing part.
3. 3Pass the end down through the first loop from the front.
4. 4Pull both ends — you’ll see the shape of an 8.
