Your child is in safe hands
Everything parents need to know: safety, supervision, cost and paperwork.
How we keep children safe
-
Trained leaders
The leaders who go with the children have completed the association’s training, and some hold first-aid certificates.
-
Clear supervision ratios
We follow the association’s supervision ratios at every camp, and girls are supervised by women leaders. The ratios will be published here.
-
Health first
The health form stays with the unit leader at every activity; medicine is given only as parents specify.
-
Photos with your consent
No child’s photo is published on the site or our pages without written parental consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Forms you’ll need
Hand them to the leader at the first meeting. Downloadable forms will be added here.

Parents’ questions
From what age can my child join?
From 7, in Cubs or Brownies. Every age after that has its unit, up to Rovers.
When and where are meetings?
At the troop centre in Meryata, once a week per unit. Each unit’s exact time is on its page.
How much does it cost?
A yearly fee, plus a separate cost for each camp announced in advance. Cash, Whish or OMT, in USD or LBP. No child misses an activity because of cost — talk to the leader.
What should they wear to the first meeting?
Comfortable clothes and trainers. The uniform comes later and we help you get it.
What do they bring to camp?
Use the packing list generator in the toolbox: choose the nights and season and get a full printable list.
Do the young ones sleep away from home?
Cubs and Brownies start with a one-night sleepover at the centre. Longer camps are for Scouts and Guides and up.
How do I reach the leader during camp?
Parents get the duty leader’s number before each camp and can call at any time.
